MY new book!

Today I went to Barnes and Nobles because I had no other choice, and I went to the teen section and I found a series of books that look totally weird but cool at the same time.  These series was written by a mother and a daughter.  The first book it called, Marked, by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast.  I am only on the first page so far cause its like 9:00.  But I hope that I can get through the first 2 chapters before I can go to bed! But if I can't then that's what I am going to be doing all day tomorrow. Let's see what I can do!

To Kill a Mockingbird

For some reason I am really looking forward to reading this book.  It has been sitting in my room for the past 3 years collecting dust but this week I finally get to read it and make my imagination go wild again.  It hasn't gone on for a while and I can't wait for it.  It seems like a good book when you look at the cover but I have learned never judge a book by its cover.  I have done this a lot, judging a book by its cover. For some reason or another if the cover looks good or creepy I pick it up, maybe it's because I love science fiction or stories that never really relate to the real world.  I love it when I can let everything in my mind run free.  So all I have right now on this book is high hopes for it to bee a good book!

My tradtions

There are many traditions that I want to keep.  The ones that I love so much are special recipes for cookies and cakes and other Middle Eastern sweets. There are also some foods that I love so much and they are grapeleaves, cabbage, this special sweet soup thing for a holiday and some other things that I have no idea how to say in english, nonetheless spell it.  These are the ones that I would want to keep.  There really isn't one thing that hate when it really comes down to tradition.  There might be some that I really don't care for but none of them come to mind. 

Dance to your own music!

Many people can dance to what ever they want to or what other people dance to.  Me, myself dance to what ever I dance to.  I can dance in the middle of the....I LOST THE GAME...…class or in the middle of the store.  Most of the time I honestly do not care what people think of me when I am in a good mood.  But on certain ideas or activities, you have to let people criticize on the thing that you do.  For example when you take Drama or Dance you have to let people criticize to make sure that the people like it not just one person but a bunch of people.  So don't forget to dance to your own beat.  Dance to what ever you like!

Friends

Some friends can be more than you want but you love them no matter what.  But some friends can be fake friends and I love those ones that can tell me the truth no matter what happens. But others that I never tell me anything.  I wish that sometimes that my friends can trust me with what ever they have to tell me.  But really I will love them no matter what or until they decide not to be my friend.  Luv you guys!

Things that can really happen.......

When you watch something like Law and Order or like NCIS you never really know what you have until something horrible happens to you.  For intense when someone that you love or someone that close to you dies, it dawns on you that you have to love what you have right now. Most people take everything that they have for granted, they do not know what they have till it is gone.  Many people tat I know are like that, especially me.  Sometimes when life is going to fast I loose what is really important to me.  Most of the time I say please and thank you, but everyone doesn't really know when you are saying it.  This happens to me all the time, I know that I want to take things slower but life will pass by me as fast as a blink of an eye and I get caught in it a lot of the time.  But I can never take a deep breath and let it all out.  Some times I can only wish to let everyone that I know and Love that I love everything that they do for me and sometimes never have the time to do so.  So when I am done with this I hope that I can take a deep breath and say thank you for everything that everyone does for me FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HERAT.  I love everyone and can't say enough to thank them.  This is what I have to say on the matter for today.  

ANTIGONE...part 2...

OMG how many times can 3 different people die.  My goodness the first book 2 people die then in the third book 3 people die.  Another thing that I noticed that was the same both of them is that the kings end up banishing themselves after fulfilling the prophecy.  It kind of gets annoying.  This book was very dramatic compared to Oedipus the King.  Even though Oedipus jabbed his own eyes out then banishes himself.  Also, I noticed that Antigone kills herself the same way Jocasta kills herself, I thought that was interesting.  One more thing that I had noticed was that some one always ended up telling the Chorus that the people were dead and the Kings ended up seeing people that they love die right on front of their eyes, to me I think I would want to do what they did.  That is all I have to say about Antigone today.  

ANTIGONE...

" The burial of our brothers, Ismeme!  Creaon has decreed that the one may be buried in all honours  while the other is not to be buried at all but be shamed.  They say Creon has buried Eteocles in all proper burial rites and ceremonies fully preparing him for the world blow, while our other brother, Polyneices, who died a death just as horrible, should be left unburied and unmourned!  left alone, to be food for the starving ravens of the sky who eagerly look out for us two, Ismene!  For you, Ismene and for me.  Yes, even for me!  They say he's about to come of palace any minute now to make this declaration for all those who haven't herd it before and to make it clear to them.  And he's not taking the declaration lightly, either!  Because if someone dares to disobey it, he'll have death by public stoning to look forward to!  And that's how things stand at the moment and you, Ismene, you have to show the true worth of your birth: are you worthy of it or will you shame your lineage? "

This quote shows a lot about Antigone has her mind set out to what she wants.  She is a kind of person that does things that feel right to her.  She kinda doesn't care what happens to her if she does what she think is needed to do.  When she doesn't get the way that she wants, she makes the people feel bad for what they said no to.  It seems like she knows what she is talking about, but doesn't all at the same time.

Little kids...

Some little kids can be a  big pain in the butt.  But for some reason you always want to play with them all the time.  Some can be very evil, but so cute at the same time.  I know this from 4 nieces from one sister. Another niece and one nephew from my other sister. Then I have cousins that I rough house with constantly.  Then I volunteer at the YMCA in the Kids Korner and the little kids there I have to be more careful with but have as much fun with them.  They can chase you for hours without getting tired, it's AMAZING.  I love to see a kid there that is learning to do something and then you help them fulfill what they were trying to do, it is the most amazing feeling ever.  And this is what I have to say about kids for today.  

4th period..................ggggrrrrrrr

I am so frustrated with her all day today.  She said things that were wrong to many students.  She never wanted to listen to what people were trying to tell her.  All it seemed like she was discriminating against some of the students in Honors Chemistry. But some of the time I could understand where she was coming from, but he could have taken a different direction towards the class.  Many of the kids in the class felt like she was being very unreasonable, and I was one of them.  She was doing many things that were mean and rude.  I did why she was yelling at us she needs to learn on how to talk to teenagers more.  I am not saying that she isn't a bad teacher, but she does yell at us a little too much.  But what can one person do?  

oedipus....yeah!

This book is weird and good at the same time.  At first you wouldn't know anything that is going on.  Just recently I figured out what was going on.  It is getting really good.  These characters are really crazy when it comes to certain things.  Sometimes it seems like they are all hypocrites when it comes to other things.  When I finally pieced everything together after reading half of the book, everything that they wanted to prevent from happening was really happening.  I was confused at first, but it finally came to me.  All I had to do was think about it for a few days.  This is it for this subject today!

The Other Side To Things That No One Knows!

Today was a day that was the most intense day that I have had in such a long time.  Today is a day that tears were shed, never wanting to be shed in the first place, but it happened anyway.  This subject of being gay, straight, or bisexual can be very hurtful to many people.  But when someone said that being that way is bad, many of the people just started to be rude and not want see the point that she was trying to get across.  The person was born and raised by Middle Eastern people and Middle Eastern people have small minds and can never open them up.  I know this because I am the same way but only as the parents part.  I am trying to keep an open mind about all of it, but being raised a certain way and being to late to change.  Me personally it is hard to be raised by Middle Eastern parents that are so closed minded to many things.  My parents and the other person's parents are so nagging we have to think the way that they think so we don't get thrown out or yelled at constantly by our parents.  No one really knows how it is being Middle Eastern and growing up here, being confused every freaking day of our lives.  No one really knows or wants to know how or why we think the way that we think.  When someone tries to state their opinion, no one wants to know, so people make accusations on things that they do not even know about.  So the next time you want to argue on this subject with a person that grew up with Middle Eastern parents that yell at you constantly, threatening you not to talk to "these" kinds of people, you would be confused more than ever.    

My T.V. Show for the next 5 weeks!

This T.V. show was really boring at first but then it started to get really good.  This show was starting to get interesting after the first season.  In the second season, one of the main characters and her name is Kasey. She has a big role in the third season so far because it has been mostly around her and the guy that she now likes and might have a long and lasting relationship with. Another main character that the show mostly revolves around is Capi.  He is the president of the fraternity that Kasey's younger brother , Rusty, is pledging for Capi's fraternity.  In this past episode was trying to figure out who a straight A student that was not supposed to be known about and Rusty was trying to figure out that if the anonymous guy was that is smarter than rusty.  In the end, Rusty does find out that it is Capi but does not say anything to blow Capi's cover.  This is it for today!
